Caroline is a founding partner of Dillon Law LLP qualifying as a solicitor in 2005 with a leading firm of solicitors in Mayfair www.janes-solicitors.co.uk
Caroline has many years’ experience representing clients in both criminal and family law matters, but now Caroline focuses on family law – including divorce, financial relief on divorce, cohabitation issues, civil partnership, domestic violence, public and children law act proceedings, permanent and temporary removal children for this jurisdiction, special guardianship, adoption, child abduction and child protection.
With Caroline’s diverse wealth of knowledge with over twenty years’ experience practising as a solicitor, Caroline is able to offer her clients a distinctive and holistic approach as her legal knowledge is not just limited to family law based resolutions. Caroline is also able to offer practical advice to help solve any family law issues that arise.
Caroline understands that often clients require advice on a number of different areas, which are not just limited to family law, and is able to do this in a clear and user friendly way whilst ensuring that all matters are dealt with cost effectively.
Lydia Ness
Trainee Solicitor
Lydia joined Dillon Law LLP in 2024 and is currently undertaking her training contract, working towards qualification as a solicitor. She successfully passed the SQE1 in January 2026 and is now preparing for SQE2.
Lydia graduated from the University of Edinburgh with First Class Honours in Social Anthropology and completed her MA Law (SQE1) at The University of Law.
Lydia supports on matrimonial finance and children arrangements, assisting with drafting, case preparation and ensuring matters progress efficiently.
Lydia is developing her expertise in family law and is known for her attention to detail, organised approach and clear communication.
Matteo Celi
Paralegal
Matteo is a dedicated paralegal who began working at Dillon Law in early 2026.
In 2023, he completed an undergraduate degree in Law at Bournemouth University. In 2025 he completed a postgraduate degree in Diplomacy and Foreign Policy at City University of London.
Matteo has gained a unique perspective on negotiation and conflict resolution and specialises in conducting in-depth legal research and crafting informed analyses.
He ensures every detail is managed with care. From drafting legal documents to meticulous court bundle preparation, he assists our team in building the strongest possible cases for our clients. He is currently working toward qualifying as a solicitor, committed to helping families achieve the best possible outcomes for their future.
